Have you ever tasted an incredibly old vintage? If so, then you know how spectacular these wines can be—if not, now’s your chance! Join us for this remarkable tasting class and discover wine’s extraordinary ability to age.

WOMEN WINEMAKERS

March 9 @ 4pm

In honor of International Women’s Day we’re celebrating today’s leading women winemakers! In this class, guests will taste high-quality, complex wines imbued with passion, delicacy, and expertise.

ORANGE WINES

April 27 @ 4pm

Our specialty wine class is back for the third consecutive year! Orange wine is a unique style of winemaking that’s quickly gaining popularity with American wine drinkers. In this class guests will taste a selection of incredible wines that exhibit a range of notes specific to Orange wine.

ADVANCED ORANGE WINES

May 11 @ 4pm

Calling all Orange wine lovers! This class will feature high-end Orange wines from obscure producers around the globe. Bar Brunello’s wine menu has the largest selection of Orange wine in the country (maybe the world!) and this class has the pours to prove it.

COMPARING SAUVIGNON BLANC

June 1 @ 4pm

In this class, guests will taste different expressions of Sauvignon Blanc, a wine known for its crisp, bright notes and easy drinkability. We’ll compare the similarities and differences between each pour as we visit prominent regions in France, New Zealand, California, Italy, and Argentina.

HIGH ALTITUDE WINES

June 15 @ 4pm

In this class, guests will taste wines from high altitude regions such as Savoie and Alsace in France, Salta in Argentina, Alto Adige in Italy, and Mosel in Germany, all of which exhibit beautiful aromatics and exceptional acidity—the perfect combination for a summertime tasting class!

CHARDONNAY

July 13 @ 4pm

Arguably the most well-known of all white wine varietals, this class will explore the depth and diversity of Chardonnay by comparing wines from California, Burgundy, Australia, Piemonte, and Argentina. Guests will come to better understand the different styles of Chardonnay and will be encouraged to choose a favorite!

ROSÉ

August 10 @ 4pm

This is the perfect class for any Rosé-lover! Guests will explore Rosés of varying hues with distinct flavor profiles from around the globe.

BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO, 3-YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY!

This class marks the three-year anniversary of Bar Brunello and we’re celebrating by pouring one of our all-time favorite wines: Brunello di Montalcino. Famed as one of the most finely crafted (and expensive) varietals, this class will take a deep dive into the structure, complexity, and texture of the world’s best expression of Sangiovese Grosso. Bar Brunello anniversary after-party to follow!

RIOJA

October 5 @ 4pm

Rioja is one of the wine world’s best-kept secrets. It’s an age-worthy, high-value varietal that’s considered a peer of more expensive, widely-known wines like Bordeaux and Burgundy. In this class, guests will taste and compare old and new vintages and examine the exceptional potential to age these wines.

RAW WINE

November 2 @ 4pm

Raw wine has emerged as a bright star in today’s wine world. Raw Wine (also referred to as natural wine) is an artisanal product made without additives and with minimal intervention. These wines are vibrant, intense, complex and alive!

SPARKLING WINE

December 14 @ 4pm

Come celebrate the holiday season with a sparkling wine class! The tasting line up for this class will include a broad range of sparkling wine styles from floral sparkling Rosé, to bright Italian sparkling, to complex Champagne.
