If you love rosé wine then this is the class for you. Though often considered best for drinking in the spring and summertime, rosés are versatile enough to drink all year long. In this class, guests will taste a broad range of rosés varying in hue and flavor profile.

Expecting Malbec? Think again. Owner and Wine Director Esteban Brunello was born and raised in Argentina and he is excited to share some of the other noteworthy varietals that shine in his homeland including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and an unexpected white varietal.

Winemaker Tasting Event: Caduceus Cellars & Merkin Vineyards with Calvin Arnold

We are thrilled to welcome GM/Winemaker, Calvin Arnold of Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards to Bar Brunello. A native of North Carolina, Calvin and his partner, Tool frontman Maynard Keenan, have crafted amazing, well balanced, complex wines from their vineyards in Arizona. Yes, Arizona! This budding wine region’s extreme fluctuation in temperature from hot, arid days to cool, brisk nights provides unique conditions for growing grapes. Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards specialize in producing Italian varietals as well as some French varietals. Join us on this special evening as Calvin pours five of his wines while preaching the gospel of Arizona vinos.

Exploring Southwest France

Wines from this region tend to have higher alcohol content, but also provide a rustic, intense, and earthy feel on the palate. Brunello di Montalcino

This class marks the two-year anniversary of Bar Brunello and we’re celebrating by pouring one of our all-time favorite wines: Brunello di Montalcino. Known throughout the world as one of the most expensive and finely crafted varietals, this class will include tasting selections from the best expression of Sangiovese Grosso. Most acclaimed for it’s structure, complexity, and texture this is a wine you must taste to believe.

The Many Faces of Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is an amazing grape varietal from Italy known the world over by many names: Picotendro, Prunent, Spanna, and Chiavennasca. In this class, guests will taste different expressions of this grape varietal while comparing the similarities and differences between each pour.

Raw wine is emerging as a force in the wine world and it is arguably one of the most well-crafted and consciously produced products in today’s wine market. Raw wine, also referred to as natural wine, is a process and philosophy of winemaking that involves organic and biodynamic agricultural practices with minimal interventions. These wines are artisanal products made without additives and they are vibrant, intense, complex and alive!

‘Tis the Season for Sparkling
